The Author's edition, signed and numbered 885/1000 by Hubbard. His Roycroft Press became perhaps the most important touchstone of the arts and crafts movement in America, which sought to revive the standards of medieval craftsmanship by producing books that were themselves works of art. Included are each of Hubbard's "Little Journeys", an often controversial essay about the lives of famous authors, musicians, artists, philosophers, or others, and all include an etched portrait.
