First edition of the author's greatest work, containing all of his surgical innovations and discoveries, including the first descriptions of "Nélaton's tumour" and "Nélaton's line". Among the surgical instruments he invented are a porcelain-tipped bullet probe and a flexible rubber catheter which bears his name.
