The purpose of The British Association for the Advancement of Science (founded in 1831) was to give a stronger impulse and a more systematic direction to scientific inquiry not only in the United Kingdom, but in all areas of the Empire. This catalogue list was generated out of the Australian meeting of the Association in 1914.
