First edition, with the manuscript correction on page 22, presumed to be in Holmes’ hand, as found in most copies. There is some confusion as to the priority of this and the 58 page version of this pamphlet. BAL claims this as the first, while Currier & Tilton remains uncertain about the priority. The difference between the two seems to be an addition of a serioes of obituaries. BAL, 8794; C&T, p. 86.
