The photographs depict the costumes created by Helen Rose and Walter Plunkett for the 1950 muscial comedy, based on the love story of Annie Oakley and Frank Butler, who met at a shooting match. Annie, an incredible sharpshooter, joins Butler in Col. Cody’s Wild West Show and the rivalry between the two begins. The film showcases songs such as “Anything you can do, I can do better” and “You can’t get a man with a gun.” Music and lyrics by Irving Berlin and screenplay by Sidney Sheldon.
