Huxley (1894-1963) wrote over fifty books and is best known for Brave new world. Nominated for the Nobel Prize in Literature seven times, he was elected Companion of Literature by the Royal Society of Literature in 1962. Huxley was a humanist and pacifist, publishing his experiences taking psychedelic drugs.
