This collection includes a great number of additional stories (37 in all) of the cautionary tales in rhyming verse about naughty boys and girls and the fates that befall them when they misbehave. Featured in English translation are nine of Heinrich Hoffmann's classic tales from his original Der Struwwelpeter along with twenty-eight additional poems written and illustrated anonymously in imitation of them.
