Composed by the secretary of the Academy of Sciences, these festschrifts were read aloud during public sessions. The speeches address such famed scholars as Pierre Lassus, Antoine-François de Fourcroy, Henri Cavendish, Nicolas Desmarets, and André Thouin. The first volume covers the years 1800-1813, the second 1815-1826, and the third 1827-1832.
