First edition, second issue of Alice in German (the first issue having the London imprint), translated by Antonie Zimmermann. Apparently both the London and Leipzig imprints were printed from the same set of type with the exception of pages iii-x. According to Williams, “the reproductions of the woodcuts in this German edition are excellent, and bear comparison with those in any other issue of Alice in Wonderland.”
