The next part is an exhaustive alphabetical catalog of all the plants that can be grown in France, with notes about the specimen’s ideal climate (many originated in the Americas) and tips for proper cultivation. The plates, which are frequently referenced in the text, illustrate flower beds and greenhouses, grafting techniques, and various stages of plant development.
