Limited edition (1000 copies printed), with illustrations from Donia Nachshen. The tale of a young woman whose mother asks her to compromise herself in order to save her father from prison. Schnitzler (1862-1931) was an Austrian dramatist, writer, critic and physician. The son of a distinguished Jewish throat specialist, he followed in the footsteps of his father, becoming a physician, all the while continuing to pursue his literary interests. Highly interested in psychiatry, he was close friends with Sigmund Freud and later wrote a thesis on the hypnotic treatment of neuroses.
